Deep in the heart of Texas I am surrounded by Trump supporters.  I plan on wearing white on this election day that will most likely be lost to the general viewing public. White has historically been the color for women who did not have the right to vote until 1920.  White stands all that is pure and decent in a world that seems to have dipped into the ugliness of society. Love will Trump hate that has been the center of this election year.  God Bless America, my home sweet home.

November 2016 in Texas

Wide open spaces became a part of life if it was Lake Michigan in the winter, the fields and woods of my Grandparents farm in Arkansas, the North Fork in Montana or Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.  Texas may have it in the western part of the state, but here in central Denton County, not so much. A lot of singers have written songs about Texas but if it wasn’t for my kids, I would be happy with seeing it in my rear view mirror.   God bless Texas but I am just passing through....
